Sonya graduated from Queen Mary's University of London and obtained a 2.1 honours degree in Law prior to successfully completing her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Bloomsbury with a Commendation.

She then commenced employment as an Executive Officer at Treasury Solicitors, London. As well as supporting Lawyers, Sonya had conduct of her own files relating to Immigration and Judicial Review matters.

Sonya was also employed as a Legal Assistant within the legal department of Dawsongroup plc, an international asset rentals company based in Milton Keynes. As a Legal Assistant, Sonya regularly provided legal and commercial advice to Dawsongroup plc and its subsidiary companies. Sonya managed her own casework of extensive commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, delivery up of assets, debt recovery, insolvency and intellectual property infringement. Sonya also assisted the company with various employment cases as well as advising and drafting standard terms and conditions and supplemental agreements.

Since joining Cramer Pelmont in July 2011 as a Trainee Solicitor, Sonya is supporting Stephen Beverley in the Litigation and Employment Department. In particular, she assists with various cases involving contractual disputes and dismissal claims.
